Summer Outfits

I used to be one of those people who took photos all the time now a days I just forget so heres a few photos from the last week of my outfits when not at work! :)

This was a lovely little cream lace dress from h & m which after a mix up I ended up getting for free lol bargin! and the shoes of course Jefferey Campbell!

Went to visit my sister in the hospital for a few hours and it was scorching hot that day! The caridgan was from a charity shop, The shirt was from River Island about £10 in the xmas sale! and the shorts H & M about £14 when I bought them last year. My bag and shoes were from boot sale hauls!
A night out with the girls! It is always been too long in between seeing them :( were all so busy and with me living away majortiy of the year, its great to meet up and have a gossip and a night out! My dress is from Love @Topshop, Paris shirt is from River Island and Charlie's dress is AX Paris
Didnt get a photo of my outfit this day but I was wearing the Asos Aztec dress that Jessie J has, LOVE IT! I am a bit of a foodie, so heres a snap of the amazing fahitas me and my friends had at the Nosey Parker Flaming Grill . Delicious!!
This was just a day out with my boyfriend. He hates the trousers, I on the other hand are in love with them :)
Shirt is from Topshop
Trousers are from New Look
and the necklace is an oldie from Primark

Due to my sister having an operation recently she cant move very well, so I am taking full advantage of this and practising hairstyles on her as she cant get away from me! Just what big sisters are supposed to do !! Heres one of many attempts at fish tail plaits!
This beauty is my friends, not mine sadly! Its a silver jersey drape dress by Vivienne Westwood. it is so beautiful! really hope she doesnt take it back because it looks amazing!! :)

Nottinghamshire Delights!

Other little delights I found whilst in Nottinghamshire!
 Cafe Roya
http://www.caferoya.co.uk/
A great little vegetarian restaurant in Beeston! My friend is vegan and I am often so intrigued at some of the things she cooks and eats, so she took us to her work Cafe Roya! Its a lovely restaurant that offers fantastic food, personally I am no vegan, veggie or pescetarian but I loved the food, I would have traded any burger or bacon buttie for that amazing food! I only took a few photos because we were too busy stuffing our faces, but as you can see from the photo below, real effort goes into the presentation of the dishes making it look to pretty to eat! The photo below is a fig fruit with goats cheese and balsamic dressing, it was delicious :) A definate must if your a vegetarian or even after trying something different the usual restaurant food.

If alternative rock music is your thing then Rockcity on a saturday night is  a great place to be!On the main stage obviously, I didnt really think much to the other rooms but I guess the black cherry lounge was good at the end of the night. but seriously these drinks were absolutely hilarious when we bought them...... not when we drank them though ! urghhh they were awful! but on the other hand they were so cheap and they look like capri suns! hahah :')

This however was the cracker of the night, the poor lad who is handing these out to just about anyone in Rockcity, oh dear. I dont know how well you can read this but basically its the lyrics to call me maybe by carly rae jepsen, with this guys full name, face book and his number! It had me in tears of laughter :')

These were just some other cool things found around Beeston, not my friends at the top of the photo their not cool :')

The Bee Keeper of Beeston !
This was in an expensive lingerie shop just off the high street, I think its great!

The Nottingham Splurge Spree!

One of my friends from uni lives in Nottingham, so decided to pay her a visit for a couple of days! ( and to get away from work!! )
As well as a night out in Rockcity, we found the time to go round the shops! heres what i got!

Where im from there isnt much around literally about 3 chain clothes shops, the rest are charity shops or dramatically over priced crap boutiques, in which you do find some gems but hey Nottinghams LOADS BETTER :)

Anyways finally gave in to my saving money instincts and splurged a little....whoops!
first purchase was the American Apparel disco pants!! wanted them for so long and just gave up searching for a cheap alternative and just decided to go for them, I was torn between the navy, grey or black but decided to play it safe and go for the black..... especially when spending £60 (with student discount!!) on a pair of trousers! and after wearing them literally everytime i go out, well worth the £60! love them!!
This little jem cost me £1 from a little charity shop in Beeston, its made from a really odd coated material not quite sure what it is but the shirt is by Kickers. I bought it for my boyfriend as he usually moans when I dnt bring him back some thing lol :D but if he hates it I am SO having it :)
Again where I live there is no Zara, there is literally nothing so when I do go to the big cities its like heaven for me. So much so that my friend had to cut me off at the zara sale otherwise this blog would have been called the Nottingham debt spree! But anyways, I got this lovely high front low back skirt for £16 :) and the top for £8!!! Absolutely love the prints on them there so bold and summery :)

And this was another treasure I found in the River Island sale, £20 but reduced from £40 so I dont feel as ripped off but this is literaly the last thing of the day I bought. Its a floral maxi skirt, you cant see from the photo but it has splits up either side! Its so nice!! :) luckily the only size left was mine! :)

And for my biggest fashion purchase to date! Jeffery Campbell Studded Litas :')
Ever since seeing them on Tumblr, I knew I had to have them! Originally the idea was to ask for money towards them as christmas present but when we went into Office, they were the last pair, in my size and the lady gave me 20% off! it was fate! Not only that but these will get their wear especially for the price I paid! plus being the real deal they are unbelievably comfy and I mean that, I am the knid of person who would usually opt for flats but no I managed to walk around Nottingham as well as the other day I walked to and from town in my home city in them.
So if you are uming and aring about the price tag over quality just get them!! They are so worth it! my friend has the cat litas and spiked flatforms and these are really comfy as well. Dont settle for the fakes as they kill your feet! Myself and friends have bought copies of some Jeffery Campbell shoes and their just not as good. A few months ago I bought a fake of the studded night walks, omg! trying to walk in those bad boys I took a tumble about 2 times before we got into town, BEFORE THE DRINKS! so seriously go real with JCs you wont regret it!! :)

I LOVE THEM :)
